Agile Cincinnati | Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 12:55PM
When: May 11, 2017 (Second Thursday) Networking: 5:30 - 6:00 pm Program: 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
We do not have one solution to address all the issues the Technology team is facing to meet the Business goals in this agile world. We cannot conclude to whatever works for now and worry about the future later. The presenter sums up some of the technology team's challenges, and how the best practices really helped to deliver the :Business needs in a timely manner.
We will talk on
- Why best practices?
- What are Technology team's best practices?
- Does the Tech team needs to make adjustments on the development, deployment, maintenance in the agile world?
- What if the Business ridiculously changes their priorities(not uncommon) in the middle or at some point of the PI(Program Increment)?
- How to manage the code base in version control(like TFS, Subversion, GIT etc.,) in those scenarios?
- Challenges with multiple Agile Teams, composition of teams working on the same product.
- What if the dependent teams do not practice Agile?
- What if the other teams do not deliver the prerequisites in time?
- What if the consumer teams are not ready to integrate the development completed services?
- Feature based deployment vs. Time based deployment(as an example weekly, monthly)
There will be something for everyone be it a developer, SCRUM Master, Product Owner/Manager, QA, Business Analyst, and any (non)agilist. You can expect a lively participation, and discussion.
