Cristine has been leading engaging, intuitive digital experiences for more than 20 years. She currently leads User Research at Kroger Technology & Digital, where she blends agile and user research to help teams collaboratively deepen customer empathy and understanding. Her past speaking engagements have included Midwest UX, American Marketing Association Ignite, and World IA Day Cincinnati. She is certified in Design Thinking.

Taste of an online collaborative class

Scrum.org trainers have been teaching virtual classes for a couple of weeks and have gotten high ratings. The trainers have shared various ways to make remote training as engaging as in person.

Since we’re all isolated, here’s a chance to see what an online collaborative class can really be like. Can you collaborate? Yes. Can the class be engaging? Yes. Can we use something as richly interactive as liberating structures? Yes.

About Dr. Chuck Suscheck

Dr. Charles Suscheck is a Professional Scrum Trainer and Managing Partner and Enterprise Agile Coach at The Madison Henry Group. He specializes in agile software development methodologies, and project management.  He is one of 6 people in the world certified to teach the entire scrum.org curriculum. He has over 25 years of professional experience in information technology, beginning his career as a software developer.  Dr. Suscheck holds a Doctorate, Masters, and Bachelors in Computer Science. He holds multiple certifications including Professional Scrum Trainer (PST), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Safe Program Consultant (SPC), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).  An educator at heart, he has over 30 published articles, has taught over 1000 students software development and is a highly respected conference speaker.

"Only I Can Solve My Own Problems"

We are used to solving other people’s problems. But are we really solving them? In this session we will explore the notion that even when we go to others to get “the answer” to a problem, it is really us in the end that makes the final call. We’ll look at how we can best help others when they come to us with a problem using Presence, Powerful Questions, and Coaching Triggers.

This session will be structured as a mini-workshop. We’ll take a look at the concepts and then practice them in triads using people’s real-life situations.

About Damon Poole

 
Damon has coached and trained thousands of people at companies such as EMC, Capital One, Oanda, Ford, and Fidelity. He speaks frequently at Agile Alliance, Agile New England, Kentucky Fried Agile, Atlassian Summit, Agile and Beyond, Agile Toronto, and others. As a coach of coaches at Eliassen, Damon led the Agile Delivery team which grew to hundreds of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches in the field. He created Eliassen's Agile Transformation approach and the training content across all aspects of Agile, and led the effort to provide opportunities for the coaches to advance in their coaching journey. This background gave Damon the opportunity to learn from hundreds of Agile Coaches in an enormous variety of client environments and from the wider international Agile community.
